Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style Guest Designer

TGIF!!!  I am so ready for the weekend how about you?  I am looking forward to spending time with my family this Easter weekend and making some wonderful memories.  I am so excited to share with you today some fun projects I created for my guest designer spot at the Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style blog!  The sketch I was given to work with is by Majo.  I loved the simplicity of this very versatile sketch!  Here is the sketch:

Here is the card I created based on the sketch:
I made my card a square to go with the pictures I was using so I ended up using four strips of patterned paper on my card element instead of three patterned paper strips as shown on the sketch.
And here is the layout I used my card element on:
Supplies Used: Cardstock: CTMH; Patterned Paper: Elle's Studio, Crate Paper& Echo Park; die cuts: Crate Paper; sticker: Crate Paper; enamel dots: My Mind's Eye; letter stickers: American Crafts thickers.

This layout was created as companion page to a layout I had created a while back.  At the time I thought there was only the one picture as this is a picture of my niece texted to me by my sister but then I found out there were more photos, so I decided to create another layout to go with the first one!  Here are both layouts together:

I truly enjoyed working with this fun sketch and as I was creating my layout I thought that it would make a great greeting card as well.  So since I can always use just basic greeting cards I decided to create a card with some beautiful Spring colors!  Here is the card I created based on the sketch:
Supplies Used: Card stock: Stampin' Up whisper white; Ink: Memento Black; Stamp: Stampin' Up; Pattered Paper: Echo Park, Crate Paper & We R Memory Keepers; sticker: Echo Park; enamel dots: My Mind's Eye; die cut: Fancy Pants.

I know you will love to see what the other DT members did with this amazing sketch, don't forget to go check out all the inspiration at Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style!  I know they would love to have you play along and they have an amazing prize up for grabs as well!  Happy creating!
